Job Overview
Plexus is currently seeking a Software Engineer II to develop software solutions and lead in the development of the architecture of new systems that satisfy and exceed our customer's needs.
Responsibilities
- Use your software development experience with a company that encourages their engineers to "push the technology envelope" - Enjoy the freedom to design and implement at your own discretion
- Be part of the most talented and experienced engineers in the contract engineering field

- Work in a challenging environment with multiple projects, typical projects last 9-18 months.

- Each project will involve the opportunity to explore and implement a new and different technology
- Be involved in all facets of a project: requirements, design, implementation, testing, customer interfacing, all aspects of delivering a quality product
- Projects ranging from small embedded devices all the way up to application level projects
- Large number of leadership opportunities that will allow you to not only guide projects through new technology, but also influence how your team designs and implements solutions.

Qualifications
All candidates must have legal authorization to permanently live and work in the United States without visa or employer sponsorship.
- A minimum of Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Expand upon your years of software development experience in C/C++, UML, RTOS, WIN CE, Embedded Linux, VX Works, Rational Tool Set as well as others
- Utilize your strong analytical skills and experience in software design
- Opportunity to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize time to maximize productivity and results
