Job Title: Service Technician Job Location: Wichita, Kansas
Job Purpose:
Ensure all Blast Resistant and Storage Buildings are well maintained
Job Duties/Traits:
Assessing and repair/service condition of box to determine type of repair needed
Assessing damage to returned boxes to determine if additional billing is necessary
Complete all necessary repairs and updates
Identify safety hazards, discuss these hazards determine how to mark or fax the hazard
Installation of 12v components (Forklift, pickup and semis)
Lot maintenance, filling of ruts holes, trenches
Lot repair and lot maintenance
Maintain parts inventory on service truck
Maintain units on location and in yard
Mechanical maintenance on forklift and vehicles
Part and supply runs
Picking up and dropping off drivers from shops
Preventive maintenance of equipment to prevent damage to units, equipment and personnel
Proper and prompt service and maintenance
Sweeping and cleaning of units
Skills/Qualifications:
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of safety procedures, codes and regulations
Knowledgeable in the use of shelf parts and tools
Must be willing to travel
Must be flexible
Must have some experience in carpentry, electrical wiring 110v/220v/12v/24v, engine mechanics
Service/repair, hydraulic systems, welding both stick, wire feed/general maintenance and repair
Must have strong customer relations skills
Operation of equipment, forklifts, skid steers, excavators, semi tractors
Requires some knowledge of all components of modules,
Knowledge of general refinery rules/regulations
The ability to work in high stress situations
