Junior Java Web Developer
Job Location: Memphis, TN
Description:
Excellent opportunity to work and learn with a great company! The American Contract Bridge League is looking for a Junior Java Web Developer to join the Internet Applications team.
In this role, you will be developing Java components (servlets, beans), database functions and procedures and JSP pages within an IBM WebSphere Application Server environment while being mentored by a Sr. Java Developer.
Required Skills:
1+ years Java programming, familiar with Tomcat or WebSphere applications servers, Eclipse, Struts, SOAP, MVC, JSP, JDBC, SQL, XML, and connection pooling. Should have experience with OO design and development using Struts. Must also possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Other Skills a plus:
AS/400 experience, CVS, Patterns (Singleton, Factory, Synchronizer Token), and Macromedia Studio MX. Candidates with Lotus Notes development and/or administration experience will be given special consideration. Bridge players are encouraged to apply!
