Provides the technology leadership to develop and maintain an updated high-quality portfolio of systems and solutions that address the energy delivery industry needs.  Responsible for the EMS development of the PRISM product line, team leadership and coordination of the EMS group.  Our ideal candidate will also be knowledgeable of power applications for transmission systems.

  • Direct involvement with EMS application interface for State Estimation, Lead Flow and Contigency Analysis
  • Facilitates customer training and product development
  • Writes and maintains software to implement the products sold by ACS
  • Design, develops, tests, debugs and implements new software applications for the SCADA, EMS and DMS systems
  • Determines software design requirements and works closely with the Chief Technology Officer on final design standards
  • Generates system software standards and procedures
  • Maintains and updates legacy software and applications
  • Assists with customer support with software related issues
  • Assists with demonstrations, SCADA presentations and training at tradeshows

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Software, Software Engineering, or other applicable field of study
  • Three to five years' software design experience
  • Knowledge of power industry needs to develop programs and scripts for advanced software applications
  • Ability to create beta tests and coordinate testing protocols with internal development partners
