ACS Corporate office in Madison, WI is seeking a General Construction Project Engineer interested in a rewarding career in fast-paced, team environment. The individual will provide coordination of multiple aspects of construction management for projects.

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work with teams of engineers of varied disciplines to provide excellent client service from the design concept stage through commissioning and job closeout.
  
• Demonstrated understanding of construction/design process.
• Work with all aspects of Expedition construction management software.
  
• Work with project scheduling (Microsoft Project) and project cost estimating (Microsoft Excel) software.
  
• Assist in project management of construction projects.
  
• Work with clients to establish general construction design criteria for engineering design firms and design/build contractors.
  
• Effectively review and coordinate architectural and engineering design documents.
  
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to unexpected demands due to changes in project scope or deadline. Use strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to effectively handle deadline pressures without creating workflow problems for others.
  
• Maintain quality subcontractor and vendor relationships.
  
• Work on multiple projects in a given time period, depending upon project size and deadline.
  

Qualified candidates must possess:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management or directly related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years experience in construction industry.
  
• Proven record of excellent client service.
  
• Ability to travel to job sites for extended periods of time. (Up to 50% local & national travel required)
  
• Highly effective oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
  
• Intermediate level skills with common computer software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet research.
