Audit Quality Specialists are expected to:

- Prepare such managerial reports as may be requested, including, but not limited to reports related to work in progress, work plans and schedules.

- Perform quality control reviews of electronic workpapers, evaluating the work of auditors, and determining compliance with regulatory requirements under the general supervision of a manager or an officer of the Firm.

- Ascertain compliance with Firm quality control standards, assist in providing recommendations related to internal control best practices, and help to identify areas for improvement.

- Become experts in their assigned areas.

- Assist in planning annual in-house training for all Firm staff.

- Assist with updating master audit guides for changes in auditing standards for distribution to firm staff.

- Assist in audit fieldwork to maintain proficiency in audit procedures and understanding and preparing financial statements.
