? Direct and coordinate the work of sales staff to maximize market share through improved sales approaches and effective pursuit and closing of new business;

? Supervise sales staff, including providing daily coaching on sales techniques, evaluating performance, disciplining as needed, and creating timely documentation as appropriate;

? Maintain adequate coverage of sales office and manage weekend scheduling;

? Determine market strategies and goals for each individual salesperson in collaborative manner and support staff as needed to help them succeed;

? Expand and maintain business contacts to develop new markets, including generation of leads & solicit new business, making a minimum of five (5) new contacts per week;

? Maintain current, timely knowledge of industry trends and related information and communicate useful information to all sales staff;

? Provide excellent customer service to own customers, including ongoing evaluation of their needs and recommendation of additional product mix;

? Track & report on lead generation and success rate on a weekly basis for all sales staff; ? Respond to customer complaints and solve problems immediately and appropriately;

? Address concerns of potential customers and overcome resistance to close sales regularly;

? Assess and provide or recommend inside and/or outside sales training as needed to support business growth and improved sales;

? Represent client in a professional, courteous manner at all times;

? Communicate regularly with management regarding customer issues and concerns;

? Use computer software programs to order and track customers? orders, write letters and other documentation, and other similar tasks;

? Collaborate as needed with management to assist in the promotion of client and expansion of market share; and

? Handle all other tasks and duties as assigned.

? One to two (1-2) years of general supervisory/management experience, including performance management and successful win-win conflict resolution skills;

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

? Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and follow through coupled with the desire to exceed customers? expectations through use of superior customer service skills;

? Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately based on business needs;

? Demonstrated ability to work both in teams and alone;

? Demonstrated self-motivation plus strong problem-solving skills;

? Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.;

? Experience with and good working knowledge of Produce Pro;

? College degree in business, marketing, agriculture, or other applicable area of study preferred; ? Food service industry experience helpful;

? Sit regularly for up to four (4) hours at a time while working;

? Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; and

? Bend, stretch, reach overhead, twist, and move, as needed, to maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds while engaged in customer service activities.
