Description: Participates and makes recommendations regarding departmental quarterly plans and performs all essential duties and responsibilities within the company?s mission, vision and values. Releases work orders as needed through Dataflo. Cleans, assembles and packages products according to operating procedures. Inspects product and labels at various stages of the work order utilizing caliper, prints and scanning equipment when needed. Distributes labels coming from the label machine to appropriate work cell. Maintains cleanliness of the work and gowning area. Ensures all appropriate procedures are followed in accordance with company policies. Pulls all material needed for work orders and maintains material transfers. Stores, handles and packages product to prevent mixing of product. Picks and closes work orders after final pack is completed. Scans and Indexes work orders after product has been final and closed into Finished Goods. Utilizes computer and manufacturing software to make necessary inventory movement. Performs cycle counts for disposable inventory weekly and/or monthly and runs the preliminary results. Researches and resolves any discrepancies found. Packages product needed to go out for processing and fills out and distributes necessary paperwork. Is cross-trained for all activities performed in the Disposables Department and covers these activities whenever necessary. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment. JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to work in close proximity with others and participate in a team environment. AUTHORITY LEVEL Has no supervisory responsibility. Errors in judgment could negatively affect instrument packaging and the safe delivery of instruments to customers. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Occasional lifting of weight up to 30 pounds. Extended periods of sitting or standing Job requires good close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less). PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT Adheres to appropriate department clothing outlined in company procedure. Follows protective equipment procedures for each department. WORK ENVIRONMENT Works in a controlled clean area (CCA). This CCA is climate controlled for temperature and humidity, in additions to being nearly dust free. The noise level is moderate.
