Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst

Affinity Consulting Group, Inc. - A leading provider of Nationwide Direct Hire Professional level Recruiting and Staffing Services is looking for a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst for one of our clients with offices in Palm Beach
Salary: $70-80k plus Excellent Benefits package and Corporate Bonus
Responsibilities:
• Administration of Hyperion System 9 Planning and Essbase Applications.
• Preparation and distribution of Financial Reports to various user groups in the organization, including Sr Mgmt and Field Operations during month-end close, and various ad-hoc analysis.
• Coordinate and Manage special projects / tasks in various areas including but not exclusive to Financial Reporting and general accounting analysis and research
• Gathering of financial and non-financial data from sub-ledger and other operational systems, re-engineering and optimizing existing processes, and interact with the lines of businesses.
• Provide end user support by resolving technical problems and recording help desk tickets
• Documenting Processes
Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Three to five years experienced database administrator for Financial Reporting or Planning Applications.
• Hyperion System 9 Planning and Essbase
• Knowledge of ERP Systems – Oracle, Baan or SAP
• Experience using data gathering tools such as:
• ETL Conversion Tools (Data Sourcing and Integration)
• Experience with Building tables, queries, Access, Excel – pivot tables, look-ups, etc.
• Experience with Process Design and Re-Engineering a plus
Education and Skill:
• Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance or Accounting
