Sr. Application Developer
Job Location: Miami, FL
Salary:
Up to $65-85k Base Salary plus Benefits
Summary:
Looking for an artistic minded application developer that has the knowledge and desire to take concepts from management and clients into design. The key is the creativity and technical programming ability balance to translate into functional development of content management systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create a new application from scratch including writing the functional spec, architecting, prototyping, development and ultimately maintenance
• Develop existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification.
• Utilize Object Oriented and properly documented coding techniques in development.
• Maintain systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects.
• Write operational and technical documentation as needed.
Experience Required:
• Highly experienced in development of application with Content Management Systems
• 3+ years of detailed knowledge of dotNET: VB.net, ASP.net, C# with Visual Studio tools.
• 3-5 years working in software development department in a Windows and browser based environments.
• Prior experience in systems programming and architecting relational web databases
• Must have SQL Server development experience.
• Experience with Javascript, HTML, XML
• Functional understanding of hardware systems that host applications
• Development experience (SDLC)
Skills and Education Required:
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
• Bachelors Degree in MIS, Web, or Computer Science, Art/Design or Equivalent work experience
