Business Analyst
Job Location: Dulles, VA
Salary:
$85k to $100k per year + Extensive Benefits package and Bonus
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing functional support for more of SAP’s MM and SRM modules
• Assist in the delivery and continued implementation of SAP SRM module.
• Support development of integrated process design and Business Process Flows
• Work closely with the PTP Functional Lead and Technical Team lead to ensure efficient and effective communication and alignment of requirements with solution development
• Ability to obtain, document and translate detailed functional specifications.
• Person in this role will work closely with entire SAP support team, involved in all aspects of support to include end user experience and interfaces with other systems. Providing input for and reviewing the Training materials.
• Identifying opportunities to exploit new SRM 5.0 functionality to support our customer.
• Responsible for the continuous effort of business process improvement, planning, execution and communication, in the relevant areas.
• Responsible for production support of SAP/SRM.
Experience Required:
• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting the SAP SRM and R/3 MM modules.
• Procure to Pay experience including purchasing, inventory management, invoice and goods receipts, invoice verification, etc.
• Customer focus - strong facilitation and end user interaction skills
• Ability to establish new process/procedures
• Create, document and run User Acceptance Testing and sign-off effort.
Skills and Education Required:
• Bachelors degree required – MIS, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Customer focus – ability to listen to customer and respond appropriately
• Ability to multi-task – work on multiple projects with varying degrees of difficulty and varying deadlines
• High degree of accuracy; attention to detail.
• Control minded; able to push back if required information is not received.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills
• Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure are required
• Must excel in a group work environment working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to think and perform in a global systems setting to link impacts between multiple organizations, business processes and systems implications
• Ability to establish new process/procedures
Pluses – Desired Skills:
• Capable of working with multiple levels of users. Providing system support to include training and documentation
• Familiarity with US-based business processes and the capability to quickly learn/understand non-US based processes
• Ability to respond to unplanned events and to self-prioritize.
• Capable of working independently with little direction and to incorporate themselves into a team environment to leverage capabilities across the multiple Divisions and within the Business Process Team
• Ability to explain technical problems and solutions to a non-technical audience at various levels
• Ability to research problems/solutions, identify and locate information from a variety of sources across the enterprise as well as external sources
