Description:
Affinity Consulting Group, Inc. - A leading provider of Nationwide Direct Hire Professional level Recruiting and Staffing Services is looking for a Web Developer for one of our clients in Ft Lauderdale, FL.
Salary:
$60k-70k Base Salary plus Benefits
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain ASP.NET websites in a team environment as well as individually.
• Create .NET services to monitor and provide simple internet applications.
• Communicate with non-IT personnel to provide support and maintenance for legacy applications.
Experience Required:
• Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
• Excellent knowledge and demonstrable experience of ASP.net development for intranets and websites.
• VB.net/C#.net development experience
• Proven experience of creating and writing stored procedures and SQL of simple to medium complexity.
• Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Server configuration.
• Reporting interface design an advantage.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience working in a team with Visual SourceSafe.
• Light graphic capabilities.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
Skills and Education:
• Bachelors Degree in MIS, Web, or Computer Science, Art/Design or Equivalent work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pluses:
• Experience of distributed architecture and high performance data
