Description:
Affinity Consulting Group, Inc. - A leading provider of Nationwide Direct Hire Professional level Recruiting and Staffing Services is looking for a Systems Architect – for one our Fortune 500 clients with offices located in New York, NY.
Salary:
$100k to $110k per year + Extensive Benefits package and Bonus
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Uses advanced software development knowledge as internal expert of company technical tools, applications, and procedures
• Program in multiple platforms at high-level and minimizing errors
• Responsible for conducting code reviews
• Communicates complex technical information to a wide variety of individuals and groups both internally and externally
• May function as a project lead
Experience Required:
• Approximately 10+ year’s directly related experience
• Highly fluent in applicable programming language(s)
• Works with a major component of software life-cycle development; designing, developing, troubleshooting, debugging and implementing software
• Ability to integrate software components and understand interdependencies and relationships
• Ability to conceptualize, design, and implement software products in applicable systems
• Solves Company wide issues that have little or no precedent; originates new concepts, strategies, or innovative approaches that have significant impact on the corporation
• Researches, presents and/or makes recommendations on technical issues
• Makes decisions and provides directions that impact a department or work unit
• Foresees potential errors before they happen
Skills and Education Required:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Communicates company vision, values, principles and business goals
• Provides constructive technical feedback
• Articulates opinions and helps guide work unit
• Communicates and mentors all members of the software development team
• Takes initiative to involve others and motivates by example
