Job Summary: Manages projects involving implementation of technology. This position is responsible for support to users of Business/Financial Systems and Enterprise-wide system Applications within the philosophy, objectives and policies across the entire organization, including all AHS divisions, Physician Office Staff, Nursing Home Personnel, Acute and Ambulatory Care Staff, and other community agencies. Responsible for training and testing, and development of training and testing material and content as it relates to all Meditech Business, Administrative and Financial Systems, and other stand-alone systems that interface with Meditech.
Job Requirements: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business or related technical field required. Relevant experience may be substituted for formal degree work at a rate of 1.5 years experience for each year of formal degree work. Three years working experience in Core System''s applications including MOX, Admissions, Abstracting, Medical Records, Scheduling, Departmental, Hospital Billing, Clinic Billing, Payroll, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Materials Management or Provider Office systems highly desired. Experience in communication with other staff on one-to-one or group level required. Experience demonstrating leadership, team skills, teaching and analytical skills desirable. Knowledge of Meditech and other stand-a-lone applications desirable. Interest in all computer technology and its application to Healthcare. Exceptional judgement skills and ability to function in a team as well as lead and support team processes. Knowledge of internal and external data definitions specific to hospitals beneficial.Interest in computerization and its potential to improve departmental efficiency.
