Job Summary:
Under the direction and the supervision of the Biomed Team Lead, and Facilities Manager, is involved in assisting with the day-to-day maintenance activities at Mercy Medical Center in the area of medical and non-medical equipment. The Intern will conduct actions in accordance with established system and department policies, procedures, protocols and other appropriate standards.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma required. Enrollment or attendance in a accredited Biomedical degree program, with a solid GPA. Must provide favorable recommendation from instructors. Energetic and motivated with the ability to function in a team environment and take direction from senior Biomedical staff. Must possess good communication skills, be cooperative, possess mature judgment, and maintain professional ethics.
