Job Summary:
Possesses knowledge of laboratory techniques, principles and instrumentation. The Medical Technologist performs complex analysis requiring the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal supervision of the Manager of the Laboratory section.
Job Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Medical Technology or one of the sciences, such as Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, and inclusive of a one year of clinical training in an approved School of Medical Technology. Registered Medical Technologist (ASCP) or eligible. If eligible, must achieve certification within 6 months of hire.
