Job Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, assist with compounding and dispensing medications as ordered by a physician.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma. Completion of a pharmacy technician program at a technical school or experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred. Ability to work autonomously and deal with a variety of people. Ability to read and follow written protocol and verbal instructions. Demonstrate effective communication, prioritization, and organizational skills. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions, set priorities, make critical decisions and respond quickly to emergency requests.
