High school diploma or equivalent is required
Job Summary:
Responsible for registration of patients. Job duties also include acting as a Patient Business Services resource for clinic patients and for clinic departments. Additionally, answers questions about insurance and patient accounts including updating insurance and filing claims, filling out forms, reviewing documents for accuracy, cashiering duties, and financial counseling.
Job Requirements:
High School graduation or equivalency required. Completion of medical terminology class/equivalent experience. Previous experience in dealing with medical insurance issues and third party payors preferred. Must have good computer skills and able to effectively work general office equipment.
