Job Summary:
Responsible for providing, under the supervision of an OTR, treatment of occupational therapy services with a patient centered focus. Assumes responsibility for patient education. Collaborates with other professionals and members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Coordinates the delivery of patient care in an efficient cost effective manner. Flex Staff are required to work at a minimum of two AHS Rehab sites and have established minimum work requirements as outlined in the AHS policy "Rehab Relief and Flex Pool Policy."
Job Requirements: Licensed in the State of Wisconsin, or eligible for licensure within 3 months of hire or after 2 attempts. Graduate of an accredited occupational therapist assistant program with an associate's degree. CPR certification required within 90 days of hire. Experience in the field of occupational therapy is preferred. Ability to make sound decisions for clinical judgement as well as Basic computer literacy and good written/verbal communication skills are required.
