CNC Lathe Set-up Operator
Job Location: Vandalia, OH
Shift:
From 7:30pm to 6:00am (Monday - Friday)
Salary:
$15.00 - $26.00 per hour

Job Skills/Requirements:
Experienced CNC Lathe operator for NIGHT SHIFT.
At least 2-3 years experience needed.
Description:
Sets up and operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathe to perform machining operations.
Sets machine tools using precision gages and instruments. Mounts, installs, aligns and secures tools, attachments, fixtures and workpieces on lathes using hand tools and precision measuring equipment. Retrieves programmed instructions. Calculates and sets machine controls to position tools, regulate cutting depth, speed, feed or coolant flow. Tests setup prior to machining. Monitors machine operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and compare readings to specifications.
Requirements:
Experience with CNC Lathes machining metal component parts. Excellent trouble shooting skills, strong knowledge of GD&T and proficient in the use of basic measurement equipment. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain proper documentation is needed.
Must have the ability to perform complex setup and operation of multi-axis lathe.
