JOB DESCRIPTION This job is based in Duluth GA, per diem will be provided. The Tower Foreman will be a member of the Wireless Services team and will be dedicated to adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality service, being highly productive and mindful of costs. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, team-based environment. The successful candidate must meet a majority of the knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience requirements outlined below. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises a three person team responsible for installing all aspects of tower equipment in a proficient manner. Insures that all OSHA rules and regulations are followed. Has extensive knowledge of tower work including, but not limited to the following:
- Occasionally climbs.
- Leading Anritsu testing.
- Rigging the tower
- Installing antennas.
- Installing TMA.
- Installing weather proofing equipment.
- Installing sector mounts and ice bridges
- Repairing and replacing connectors, amplifiers, and antennas.
- Completing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms
- Ensuring other Technicians follow all safety procedures.
- Responsible for other team members` quality, safety, day-to-day training
- Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / COMPETENCIES - Self-starter with integrity and confidence who strives to achieve in even the most challenging environments with limited supervision.
- Able to comprehend and follow work instructions, apply basic math, and use handheld measurement devices.

Skills/Requirements - High school diploma or GED.
- Travel up to 100%.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Tower Technician.
- Must be PIM test or Anritsu certified or able to demonstrate proficiency
- Must be certified in ComTrain, CommScope Connectors or Andrew Connectors Certification or able to demonstrate proficiency
- Have current OSHA 10 and CPR certification
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat software
- Must successfully complete pre-employment assessments, background & reference checks.
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills combined with technical understanding of voice, data, and fiber optic systems.
- Must be proficient in the use of all tools, equipment, and testers related to tower systems work.
