Job Description AFL, a leading fiber optics telecommunications company has an opening for a Customer Service Intern in our Duncan, SC facility. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity while gaining knowledgeable work experience AFL is the organization! The Customer Service Intern is responsible for assisting with a wide variety of customer service tasks and projects to support the sale of products supplied by AFL into various markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student to gain knowledgeable work experience while using their education. This individual will be exposed to a varity of customer service and sales processes to prepare the individual for a career in business, customer service, or sales.
- Assit customer service team as needed in all phases of the sales process from quotes, to orders, to shipments, to complaints, and payment issues.
- Handle and distribute current reports as well as deveolpe any additional reports to increase the service provided AFL`s customers.
- Assist with special projects as needed. Contirbute to the overall success of the Customer Servcice Team.
Skills/Requirements - Must be a current student at an accredited four year college or university.
- Possess a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must be sophomore, junior, or senior level standing.
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
- Has great attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn, natural curiosity and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple projects/ responsibilities simultaneously
