The T & E IT Technician will be a member of the EF & I Services team and will be dedicated to adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality service, being highly productive and mindful of costs. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic, team-based environment. The T & E Information Technology Technician will work on site at AT&T Plaza in Charlotte, NC. Where they will maintain the servers and processes that support telecommunication engineering workflows and applications. The candidate will also need to maintain the Team Foundation Server and a Windows server for the development team. Application monitoring and performance knowledge is required. The successful candidate must meet a majority of the knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience requirements outlined below.
- Full time position to work at customer site monitoring performance of their servers that support engineering software applications and troubleshoot any issues.
- Review and upload required upgrades on developmental server.
- Maintain SharePoint application.
- Maintains and trouble shoot Sequel import data.
- Writing scripts in PowerShell.
- Some hardware support for PCs.
- Maintain backups for development server.
- Point of contact for production server and coordinate fix.
- Other IT maintenance type functions as needed.
- Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of AFL.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
- Maintains development server.
- Monitors performance of software applications
