The Engineer - Transport will meet or exceed business unit goals while maintaining quality standards, controlling expenses, and following company and business unit directives and practices. The successful candidate must meet a majority of the knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience requirements outlined below. Potential evaluation customer`s request for EF&I services based on TEO Specialist or Estimators documentation. Provides detail specs, orders material and updates required databases to meet customer expectations. Perform site surveys, if required and feasible, to determine requirements for equipment and materials to complete work requested on RFQ. Could compile list of all required material types, quantities, cable lengths, etc to complete requested work. Submit completed site survey and materials list. Complete detailed installation specifications. Work with field operations to determine placement of new equipment while maintaining all customer standards. Good judgment. Organizational skills. Customer service skills. Knowledge of telecommunications engineering, equipment, and installation. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Skills in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and creating/editing drawings.
Skills/Requirements Associates degree and/or minimum of two years of industry related experience
