AFL is seeking a Customer Service Intern for Spring term, January - May 2014.

The Customer Service Intern is responsible for assisting with a wide variety of customer service tasks and projects to support the sale of products supplied by AFL into various markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student to gain knowledgeable work experience while using their education. This individual will be exposed to a variety of customer service and sales processes to prepare the individual for a career in business, customer service, or sales.

• Assist customer service team as needed in all phases of the sales process from quotes, to orders, to shipments, to complaints, and payment issues.
• Handle and distribute current reports as well as develop any additional reports to increase the service provided AFL`s customers.
• Assist with special projects as needed. Contribute to the overall success of the Customer Service Team.
• Maintaining files for quotations, purchase orders, and sales order acknowledgements
• Monitoring customer activity and help ensure overall health of account
• Supporting and backing up others in the customer service team
• Liaising with manufacturing and commercial departments

• Must be a current student at an accredited four year college or university.
• Possess a minimum GPA of 2.75
• Must be sophomore, junior, or senior level standing.
• Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
• Has great attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, natural curiosity and strong work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple projects/ responsibilities simultaneously
