AFL Telecommunications, a leading fiber optics telecommunications company has an opening for an International Trade Intern in our Duncan, SC facility. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity while gaining knowledgeable work experience AFL is the organization!

The individual will be responsible for providing assistance to the International trade department with various tasks and projects related to import/export and US trade compliance

Responsibilities include:

Audit transactions related to import/export and NAFTA
Assist with NAFTA solicitation, qualifiation, certification, and record keeping
Record Retention (NAFTA, Certificates of Origin, Customs entries, export checks)
Utilize various software components to analyze import/export data
Other duties as assigned




Skills/Requirements

Must be a current College student at a 4 year accredited school
Prefer majors in International Business/Trade or Business Administration
Display a willingness to learn
Detail oriented
Proficient in MS Office
