Soil Max, a Subsidiary of Ag Leader, has an opening for a Territory Sales Manager for Western Canada
Responsibilities
- Analyze performance of territorys sales to identify strengths/weaknesses and perform dealer recruitment or recommend action plans to increase companys sales.
- Analyze historical sales trends, project new sales trends and develop forecasts of company sales in the territory by product line.
- Recommend marketing plans to Sales manager for new and existing products.
- Provide training and support on the companys products to dealers in the territory.
- Keep dealers informed of changes in pricing, product availability, financing rates, etc
- Plan and conduct territory farm shows, dealer open houses, conferences or other events in the territory that provide opportunities for the promotion of companys products.
- Plan and conduct dealer and customer training sessions
- Provide in-field technical support when deemed necessary by companys management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Ag Related Discipline
- 3+ years of experience with Ag Related Sales
- Familiarity with Precision Farming Products
- Ability to solve problems effectively in a fast paced environment
- Thorough understanding of sales and marketing techniques.
- Ability to gather, analyze and effectively present information on the performance of the sales territory.
- Ability to meet and get to know people easily
- Ability to effectively support dealer by gaining their respect through demonstrated job performance and support of their activities.
- Ability to work effectively with all departments of the company.
