Location: Ames, IA

We are presently seeking a key contributor to join our growing engineering team. This position provides the opportunity to be involved in the product design process from initial definition through product release. You will participate in the design and development of or advanced user interface products.

Qualifications:

• Experience with application development in C++ on embedded Linux
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other appropriate degree and experience
• Experience with multi-threaded applications
• Experience with source control and bug tracking
• Experience with Qt or similar GUI framework desirable
• Experience with database engines desirable
• Experience with GPS systems is a plus
• Ability to develop software and solve problems effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well in a multidiscipline team environment, either as a participant or project leader
• Strong Communications skills with management, coworkers, and customers
• Experience in software architecture and graphics design a plus
• Agriculture background is a plus but not required
