Responsibilities:
Imagine yourself? - Servicing pharmacy customers including: obtaining and recording initial demographic and other required information, data entry of required information into the pharmacy system for record keeping, insurance verification and label generation purposes, and cashiering.
- Under the supervision of the pharmacist, preparing appropriate medication. This includes selecting product, counting or reconstituting and packaging of product.
- Performing limited insurance and third party billing functions.
- Performing any of the following clerical duties to ensure efficient operations depending upon the needs of the pharmacy: inventory control including ordering and stocking, preparing medications for delivery or mailing, prescription, bank and post office deliveries, prescription billing for physicians, general housekeeping and display set up. This position will float to the Green Bay, Marinette, Sturgeon Bay and Kaukauna Aurora Pharmacies.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to independently read and interpret a prescription order.
- Good customer service, organization, problem resolution and process development skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintains confidentiality, and takes initiative.
- Must have high attention to detail and strong mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft office applications and electronic mail. Experience with electronic medical records and/or pharmacy systems.
- Previous third-party insurance or Medicare experience desirable.
