Responsibilities:
Imagine yourself? - Making complete chart entries on patient transaction, writing orders and recording progress notes which will be reviewed and countersigned by the supervising physician.
- Initiating appropriate laboratory, radiologic, and special examinations or tests required for the evaluation of illness.
- Providing counseling and instructions regarding patient problems, referring patient to other services.
- Preparing and dictating patient summaries of patient clinic care.
- Taking complete, detailed and accurate patient histories and reviewing patient records to develop comprehensive medical status reports.
- Performing physical examinations and recording all pertinent patient data.
- Interpreting and evaluating patient data as authorized by the supervising physician for the purpose of determining management and treatment of patients.
Qualifications:
- Current Physician Assistant license granted by the State of Wisconsin - Wisconsin Medical Examining Board.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant granted by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for administering / prescribing controlled substances.
- Current certification in cardiac life support (BLS or ACLS).

- Ability to work as a member of a health care team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
