Responsibilities:
Explore a Career In ICU...
- Performs the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic, and quality care. This includes the assessment of patients; establishment and implementation of the nursing care plan; and evaluation of clinical outcomes within an inpatient environment.
- Consistently makes sound clinical decisions and demonstrates the ability to care for patients with complex problems.
- Provides ongoing patient centered nursing care.
- Completes initial assessment of patient including obtaining vital signs and gathering pertinent health information while following decision trees and protocols.
- Provides triage and consultation to patient, family, and/or significant others according to protocol and established guidelines.
- Initiates and implements a nursing plan of care individualized to the needs of each patient.
- Assesses patient/family readiness for participation and involves them in planning and implementing care. Seeks consultation as needed.
Qualifications:
- State of WI nursing license,
- BLS.
- Associate`s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor`s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred,
- ACLS, TNCC within 1 year of hire.
- Medical/surgical or ICU experience
Scheduled Hours: Schedule: 12 hour shifts Weekends: Yes - every other 7p-7:30a Holidays: Yes -every other On-Call Required: Yes -as census dictates
