Responsibilities:
Imagine yourself as a Rehabilitation Services Director. . .
  • Developing, implementing, and managing the physical medicine, sports medicine and health and wellness professional
  • development programs. Strategically planning and implementing department goals to support the overall
  • organizational strategic plan.
  • Planning for future growth and increased market share through the development of physical therapy services.
  • Developing and implementing program development initiatives and marketing strategies. Evaluating outcomes and making adjustments to ensure client satisfaction, maximum profitability and increasing overall program growth and viability.
  • Monitoring regulatory standards, industry trends, and market opportunities in collaboration with the medical director.
  • Collaborating with leadership, physicians, and staff to align clinical practices and programs to increase effectiveness,
  • efficiency and patient satisfaction. Collaborates with medical director to monitor productivity and expenses and
  • recommends improvements to maximize the high quality, cost effective delivery of programs and services.
  • Overseeing, managing and negotiating rehabilitation contracts in collaboration with senior leadership, and various
  • Developing and monitoring plans to achieve productivity and cost improvements. Coordinating capital acquisitions in order to reduce costs and duplication.
  • Preparing proposals for achieving greater efficiencies and cost saving initiatives and ensuring efficient operations, proper staffing levels and resource utilization.
  • Developing, maintaining, and updating operational policies, procedures and standards of patient care in collaboration with the medical director.
  • Developing operating and capital budgets and controlling expenditures within approved budget objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Wisconsin
  • Education as defined by state licensing requirements
  • Requires 7 years of experience in program management, provision of services, developing and executing business development plans, and ensuring quality and optimization of patient care. Includes 3 years of management experience in staff, budgets and multiple rehabilitation functions at a manager or above level
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including project management, decision making, delegation, prioritization, team building,time management, customer service, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and accrediting requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience building market share and establishing relationships with community leaders
