Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation`s team is made up of around 2,700 members dedicated to making our travelers experiences safe and pleasant. With service to approximately 70 cities throughout North America, we carry an estimated 6 million passengers a year.

The position of Employee Relations Representative provides support and direction of Employee Relations/Human Resources functions. Additionally, it supports the Employee Relations Managers on investigations, corrective action issues and labor relations matters, and assists with enforcing Company practices, policies and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Investigates and responds to internal employee complaints and allegations of harassment and discrimination, in coordination with Employee Relations Manager. Ensures confidentiality at all times.
Conducts and maintains documentation for internal employee complaints
Supports Managers with Company policies and procedures and employee relations issues, in coordination with Employee Relations
Assists in administration of labor agreements and provides guidance and assistance to Employee Relations Manager in preparation of responses to employees and union representatives
Assists with labor relations, may participate in negotiations
Assists Employee Relations Manager with updating and maintaining Company policies and procedures
Provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures
Works closely with management, ensuring coordinated, efficient and cost-effective execution of employee relations activities, demonstrating customer service principles
Ensure consistency in handling disciplinary problems
Assist in preparation of employee notices and corrective action
Works with Corporate Learning and Employee Relations in scheduling and delivery of training
Requires the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requires ability to respond quickly in a fast paced environment
Requires the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership, customers and labor
Requires the ability to travel up to 35% of the time
Performs any other duties or projects as assigned

Requirements Essential Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree in human resources or related field or equivalent work experience
3-5 years of work experience as a HR generalist
Experience in working in a union environment
Experience in conducting employee investigations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Airline experience preferred
No licenses required
