As the largest independently held regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation performs flying services for US Airways, and ground handling services for US Airways and United Airlines.
Flying 71 CRJ-200 regional jets as US Airways Express, AWAC brings passengers from their hometowns large and small to hubs that provide them with a gateway to countless travel destinations. Additionally, AWAC is a ground handler for US Airways and United Airlines in United`s Washington Dulles International hub and numerous cities throughout the country.
Air Wisconsin Airlines is currently seeking an ambitious Information Technology professional, who is looking to for an opportunity to grow their skillset and experience in a Solutions Developer position in our Appleton, WI location. The position will require working closely with project managers, analysts, and development team members to deliver business applications for various departments within Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation. It is critical to understand business processes and requirements that drive the analysis and design for technical solutions.
The position will be part of a development team that provides expertise on strategic initiatives and mission critical applications. The development team will give this position opportunity to utilizing the latest version of the .NET Framework, Microsoft BI tools and SQL Server.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributing to the programming of new applications
Consulting with department customers
Develop, code, install, QA, debug, and document applications
Supporting, maintaining and administering deployed solutions
Hands-on practice with Microsoft Toolset, C# and the .NET Framework , Visual Studio, SQL Server and ASP.NET
Understanding of AWACs culture and methodologies
Experience working with and helping develop the Software Development Lifecycle
Assist to ensure security of all applications
Work with development team on database development and warehousing
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing applications
Conduct research into current and emerging technologies and issues in support of development efforts

Requirements Requirements:
Bachelors/Associates Degree Program in Computer Programming
2-5 years hands on development through work experience and/or internship/school projects
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organization and follow-up skills
Object Oriented Programming experience and relational database experience preferable in Microsoft .NET 2.0/3.5/4.0, C# and SQL Server
Prior experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010 a plus
Experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM)
Familiar with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) a plus
Proof of US citizenship or permanent work authorization
Preferred Requirements
Airline related experience
3.0 GPA
Extracurricular/leadership activities
Understanding of Microsoft technology for the following:
o Silverlight 3.0
o Web Services
