Flying 71 CRJ-200 regional jets as US Airways Express, AWAC brings passengers from their hometowns large and small to hubs that provide them with a gateway to countless travel destinations. Additionally, AWAC is a ground handler for US Airways and United Airlines in United`s Washington Dulles International hub and numerous cities throughout the country.

Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation`s team is made up of around 2,700 members dedicated to making our travelers experiences safe and pleasant. With service to approximately 70 cities throughout North America, we carry an estimated 6 million passengers a year.

The Regulatory Compliance Specialsit will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance by performing: Airworthiness Directive administrative tracking and control, Major Repair/Alteration management, Technical Response management, Receiving Specification authoring.

Job Duties:
Monitors Federal Register for pending rulemaking related to Airworthiness Directives and other regulatory notification processes. IE; NPRMs, SAFOs, INfOs, ect... and coordination of subsequent implimentaion needs to meet regulatory requirements.*
Major Repair and Alteration reporting evaluation, recording, and FAA submission.*
Liaison with FAA concerning airworthiness regulation compliance issues.*
Coordinates with aircraft lessors during periodic records audits.*
Assists in the acceptance and delivery of newly acquired and lease return aircraft.
Technical Response review and compliance analysis associated with aircraft and parts.*
Recommends changes to General Maintanence Manual policies, practices, and procedures.*
Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.*
Adherence to company policies and procedures.*
Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Requirements:
Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance or Engineering, or equivalent practical career experience.
One to two years in airline maintenance/quality program administration environment Part 121 Air Carrier operation or a Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) operation.
Ability to interpret and work with detailed and complex technical data
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Experience with MicroSoft Word, Excel, and Access
