Description
As the largest independently held regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation performs flying services for US Airways, and ground handling services for US Airways and United Airlines.

Flying 71 CRJ-200 regional jets as US Airways Express, AWAC brings passengers from their hometowns large and small to hubs that provide them with a gateway to countless travel destinations. Additionally, AWAC is a ground handler for US Airways and United Airlines in United`s Washington Dulles International hub and numerous cities throughout the country.

Air Wisconsin is currently seeking a Manager of Human Resources. Under the general direction of the Managing Director of Human Resources, this is individual will be responsible for the overall administration and effectiveness of recruiting and staffing in the company.

Job Duties and Responsiblilities:

Responsible for the recruitment functions across the company; oversees recruitment, advertisement, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring of job applicants for both union and non-union positions throughout the system.
Maintains good public relations with various civic and welfare organizations and local businesses.
Consults with department heads on issues concerning staffing within their department.
Develops, coordinates and provides training on the E-Recruiting system and recruiting processes.
Ensures that applicants complete and meet the required pre-employment screening requirements for their position.
Responsible for the Recruiting Manual and the Business Continuity Plan for Recruiting.
Develops, conducts and maintains training programs for hiring managers on Air Wisconsin recruitment policies and procedures.
Responsible for developing, communicating and training new processes, procedures and regulations to the recruiting staff.
Responsible for the Affirmative Action plan.
Responsible for the continuous development of recruitment policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed, including cost effective recruiting methods.
Ensure that employment testing procedures are kept current.
Develops and oversees the monitoring of hiring statistics. (reports to track time to fill, cost to hire, etc.)
Responsible for the recruiting budget including planning, managing and completing necessary reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel is required.
Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.
Adherence to all Company policies and procedures.

Requirements Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources (preferred experience in a union environment).
Full scope recruiting, selection of applicants and some leadership experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
