Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services for American Airlines, and starting in the fall of 2017, will preform flying services for United Airlines.

Currently operating CRJ-200 regional jets as American Eagle, Air Wisconsin Airlines will be fully transitioning their fleet to a partnership with United Airlines and will operate as United Express. The full transition will be completed by March of 2018.

Air Wisconsin`s team is made up of around 1,500 members dedicated to making our travelers experiences safe and pleasant. With service to approximately 70 cities throughout North America, we carry an estimated 6 million passengers a year.

The System Support Analyst will require working closely with Applications Manager, Project Managers, end users, and support & development team members to deliver business applications for various departments within Air Wisconsin Airlines. It is critical to understand business processes and requirements that drive the analysis, design delivery of technical solutions.

The position will be part of an application support team that provides expertise on strategic initiatives and mission critical applications. Assignments may include implementation, integration and support of a packaged application. Effectively applies communication, analytical, problem-solving skills to help identify, research, and resolve problems.

Act as an I.T. owner of systems (which include but not limited to: Flight Operations Support, Kronos, Infinium, , Ultipro, PMI, Onbase) to ensure they are implemented and configured to meet user needs*
Supporting, maintaining and administering deployed solutions*
Develop relationships with department heads and vendors*
Create and maintain documentation for supported solutions*
Apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with vendors, end users, to determine system functional specifications*
Report and query writing in Cognos, SSRS and Showcase*
Respond and resolve Helpdesk tickets created by users to fix problems or answer technical questions regarding systems*
Acts as a team member, or lead team member, in projects that involve small medium and large changes to existing systems or the implementation of new systems/processes*
Lead IT projects with minimal oversight*
Help ensure security of all applications*
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing applications*
Carry out other IT related duties which may be assigned from time to time*
Understanding of Air Wisconsins culture and methodologies*
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are essential*
Ability to tailor communication for technical purposes and for user-friendly language*
Attendance is considered an essential responsibility.*

Requirements Essential Requirements:

Associate degree in a technology preferred
Three to five years of system/analytical experience is required
Proof of US citizenship or permanent work authorization
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills is essential
Understanding of IT infrastructures such as MS Windows OS (server and client), LAN, WAN, security, file and print servers, web servers, application servers, database servers, storage servers, IBM iSeries OS, DB2, etc.
Familiarity and/or experience with Kronos or general understanding of time and attendance software
Familiarity and/or experience with Infinium or understanding of general accounting practices
Familiarity and/or experience with Onbase
Intermediate level programming with IBM iSeries programming languages
o CL
Knowledge of IBM iSeries OS/400 including CL, DDS, Job scheduling and Data editing tools i.e. EZVIEW, Sequel
VB Script or other scripting experience
FTP Technologies
Familiarity and experience supporting SaaS based applications
Experience with application integration tools is a big plus.
Cognos reporting, SSRS or Showcase report writing experience.
Excellent software troubleshooting experience
Ability to communicate with technical and user-friendly language
Airline related experience is a plus
