Drafter

Job Description:
The drafter will prepare mechanical product drawings, electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, instructions, material lists and operator manuals for use in building and operating ALMACO agricultural research equipment, provide drafting support, BOM support, decal creation and printing, CNC plasma tool paths and technical assistance to engineers and manufacturing personnel to continuously improve ALMACO products and services.
Post high school education and training in mechanical drafting and one year of successful work experience with drafting electro-mechanical parts, equipment and devices required OR a combination of education, training and relevant experience that provides the required knowledge and skills to perform the above responsibilities. As a small employer, ALMACO has been able to maintain a close knit family atmosphere.
