Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for this position include writing, modifying, testing and installing computer programs for small to medium-sized projects. Other responsibilities include providing critical system maintenance, trouble-shooting, project estimation, proper use of standards and processes, documentation, occasional oncall responsibilities and contributing to a successful team environment by assisting other programmers and sharing knowledge.
Qualifications
A four-year degree plus a minimum of one year of application development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience should include application development, preferably in an Oracle client-server environment. Preferred languages/platforms include .Net, Visual Basic, C# and PL/SQL. A demonstrated ability to handle small to medium-sized application development projects is also preferred. Other required qualifications include excellent oral and written communication skills along with logical, analytical and abstract thinking qualities.
