An innovative, Winchester-based, employment screening agency has an immediate opening for a Software Developer. Join our skilled team of business application developers using Microsoft technologies to solve complex business problems in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and utilize your skills to design, develop and enhance multi-tier, client-server and web-based business applications using .NET, ASP, VB, SQL Server, COM+, HTML, JavaScript and XML, to name a few. Participate in migration of existing applications to .NET. Various growth opportunities exist for qualified individuals, and team members often participate in the full software life-cycle including project planning, requirements analysis, design, testing, training, and maintenance.
Experience in some or all of the following areas is desired:
- Visual Basic 6 and .NET (ASP.NET, C#.NET)
- HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript.
- Relational database (SQL Server)
- XML, XSL, CSS
- Web services
In addition, candidates should be:
- Comfortable working in a team environment and on smaller, individual tasks
- Able to learn new systems quickly and analyze and develop solutions to complex problems
- Able to interact with customers and non-technical staff and possess excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills
- Able to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Able to follow established processes and methods within the company’s SDLC
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary range is dependent on job-related experience. We offer a convenient Shenandoah Valley location and a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental, vision insurance, STD/LTD, and 401k with company match.
