Responsibilities: Provide program management expertise to SI IPT Lead in the development of strategy and policies for the organization. Coordinate and report periodic and comprehensive assessments and evaluations of program goals and objectives that will provide a basis for long-range planning to enhance the organizations management capabilities. Evaluate program documentation to ensure that the technical needs of the program are consistent with sound program management practices and the degree of risk involved. Synthesize critical program management issues, program documentation, and relevant information to support program reviews.
Education: BS/BA degree from an accredited university in an analytical or relevant technical discipline.
Allowable Substitution: An AS or AA degree from an accredited university and an additional four (4) years of relevant experience.
Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the eight (8) years, there must be at least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development. At least two (2) years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP). Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning in a major DoD program. Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in analysis of DoD acquisition programs or projects with emphasis on weapon systems.
Other: Good briefing skills and interpersonal and/or diplomatic skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance.
