Responsibilities: Provide program support to ACAT I and ACAT II ship programs in support of NAVAIR 1.2 Aviation/Ship Integration (A/SI). Maintain configuration control of ship design, Support Equipment (SE), Test & Evaluation aviation events, Aviation Certification, and material and requirement changes. Develop and track ship design changes to ensure ship compatibility with aviation systems through Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs). Review and maintain build records such as CDRLs to ensure aviation systems configurations are compatible and designed in accordance with engineering, logistics, program, and contractual requirements. Assist with the identification and management of aviation systems to ensure ships configuration is compatible with aviation equipment. Assist with developing, maintaining and updating project structures and schedules IAW contractual and technical requirements. Recommend alternative approaches to programmatic and technical problems/issues by helping to identify more efficient and cost effective solutions such as new business, contractual, configuration, logistics, engineering, and financial procedures. Respond to actions and data calls, develop and monitor spend plans, develop WBS and PIDs. Utilize maintenance manuals, technical manuals, and manning requirements documentation to analyze system training requirements for GFE. Conduct risk analyses on design configuration integration issues. Facilitate communication between engineers, competency managers, SYSCOMs, and customers. Coordinate and participate in weekly EDT meetings, engineering design reviews, configuration planning groups, working groups, and major program review sessions. Coordinate and provide technical support for various top level meetings utilizing the Protocol Office to include the Council of Captains, the Semi-Annual PEO Carriers Summit, and the A/SI-Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) External Communications (EXCOMM) quarterly meeting.
Education: Bachelor`s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Six (6) years of program management experience.
Other: Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance.
