Responsibilities: Provide Program Analyst support to the PMA-213 Combat ID IFF Mark XIIA Mode 4/5 Cryptographic Modernization Lead Program Office (CM LPO).Provides COMSEC policy and procedural support to the CM LPO IPT Lead by coordinating efforts with Joint DoD Services, National Security Agency, and DoD International AIMS Program Office to ensure Mode 5 Program complies with Cryptographic Modernization requirements. Assists with preparation of and updating AIMS Mark XIIA Mode 5 IFF System Cryptographic Modernization policies, references, and instructions, and disseminates to operational forces and DoD Integration and Test Contractors.
Serves as the Cryptographic Modernization Subject Matter Expert (SME). Uses in-depth knowledge of EKMS, KMI, modern crypto keying devices and Black cryptographic keying requirements. Liaises with Space and Warfare Center Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Programs and Technical Representatives to ensure Mode 5 IFF is supportable in order to meet CM initiatives.
Creates training materials, briefs, and updates accordingly. Assists CM LPO IPT Lead in organizing and conducting meetings with Joint DoD and International Stakeholders. Prepares briefs and presentations. Participates in technical meetings and discussions. Provides cryptographic technical support for test and evaluation events. Travel anticipated.
Education: BS or BA degree from an accredited university in Business Management or a "Relevant Technical Discipline".
Allowable Substitution: AS or AA degree from an accredited university and an additional four (4) years of experience. Or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the eight (8) years, there must be at least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis. Included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapons systems and components development. Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules.
Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs. Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs.
Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
