Responsibilities: Provide Networking assistance and support to geographically separated installation teams including network diagramming and configuration management. Assist the Senior Computer Network Architect in the development of network Authority to Operate (ATO)s for system networks and all components used to connect those networks. Create and update network drawings of all C-UAS installation locations. Assist in the testing and evaluation of all networking components. Analyze local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting operation systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges and other devices. Resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including E-Mail, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing and the like. Configure systems to user environments. Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. Design network and preferred computer security measures. Research and recommend network and preferred data communications hardware and software. Leads and works the execution of complex tasks. Perform tasks under the guidance and supervision of senior engineers and managers and have demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise.
Education: Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Engineering
Allowable Substitution: Associates Degree in Computer Engineering and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Computer Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of experience in Computer Engineering. C-UAS or related experience required.
Other: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Security Clearance. An active clearance is preferred.
