NAVY QUALIFIED VALIDATOR (Req 21 092) - Program Management Contract



Job Location: Dahlgren, VA
Department: Program Management Contract

Responsibilities: Provide validation and validation sustainment services support. Validate IT systems` compliance with all applicable Security Controls, including developing the appropriate test procedures, executing the test procedures, and accurately documenting the results of security testing. Support and/or update the necessary artifacts (i.e., Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Risk Assessment Summary, Security Assessment Plan, A&A Security Control Validation Test Results, and Security Assessment Report (SAR), etc.), documentation and other support information to validate a package and to provide sustainment support.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Four (4) years related practical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering Test and Evaluation (T&E), or A&A related field. One (1) year Navy specific experience performing validator tasks with C&A and/or A&A Packages. Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience with Interim Authority To Test (IATT), DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), and Platform Information Technology (PIT) Systems. Shall have direct Validator knowledge and experience utilizing the Navys instance of eMASS.

Other: Certified at the Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Level II or Level III under RMF. Information Assurance Technical (IA) certifications in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M or successor and NSWCDDINST 5239.4C. IA Workforce (IAWF) designation of Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certifications.
