LOCATION: Patuxent River, MD
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides comprehensive financial support to the FMS BFM and International Business IPT. Supports the creation of funding documents and PIDs, financial tasks, data calls, budget submissions, assists with creation of and review of Spend Plans, WAAs, and financial documentation. Updates ERP cost planning and creates and maintains project and budget structure data in ERP. Prior OCF funding experience is required. Tracks fund balances, creates spreadsheets, assists with preparation for briefings and meetings, promulgates information and performs other duties as assigned. Maintains financial spreadsheets and tracking logs, and assists in compiling financial data in response to requests for information and data calls. Reconciles all active fiscal year funds. Monitors obligation and expenditure status. Works with Comptroller and Field Activity analysts to resolve problem postings, unmatched disbursements, and cost over-run. Fills in for FMS Team BFM, when required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associate`s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: A minimum of four (4) years experience in financial and management organization; and a minimum of two (2) years out of the prior four (4) years of experience supporting financial operations in support of Department of Defense Security Assistance Programs is required. Experience shall include performance of cost and financial analyses of commercial aerospace/defense contractors and government activities. Individuals must have the ability to (a) interpret and apply Defense/Security Assistance financial and acquisition guidance, directives and manuals, (b) provide advice and guidance in Security Assistance Financial matters and (c) understand the use of manual/automatic management information systems. Experience required in the preparation of Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) and Price and Availability (P&A) documents, financial reconciliation, case management and closure, and financial action tracking.
