Details: Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with flexibility for department meetings.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous consumer loan experience.
Description SUMMARY: Under close supervision incumbents perform various functions that support the department and enables lenders and managers to effectively generate quality loans for the bank. This includes assisting lenders and providing exceptional service to customers who have loans in process. Work is mainly focused on gathering the correct documentation for less complex loans and maintaining loan files. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Provide general administrative support to lenders and/or managers.
- Maintain office and documentation supplies.
- Assist customers with the application process and close loans according to internal policies and procedures.
- Obtain credit information and ensure sufficient loan collateral and documentation for less complex loans.
- Work the Technical Exceptions (TE) list to ensure that bank security interests in the files are perfected in a timely manner.
- Complete and retain all compliance-related documents (HMDA, Regulation B and Regulation Z).
- Review new applications and loans for completeness and accuracy.
- Answer customer inquires for less complex loans or guide them to the correct associate that can assist them.
TEAM ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Cross-sell other services of the bank.
- Support and uphold the Arvest Mission Statement.
- Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all associates in order to ensure accurate and efficient operations and service.
- Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the bank`s overall operation.
- Promote professionalism at all times.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Successful completion Fundamentals of Lending is required within the first 90 days
- One (1) year banking or other related work experience required
- Arvest experience preferred
