JOB SUMMARY
Under limited guidance, the Financial Analyst II is designs and creates reports for customers. Exhibits intermediate to advanced knowledge of the core financial systems, data warehouse system and data and corporate reporting tools. The Financial Analyst II must identify and leverage the appropriate tool for the information and analysis needed.

Under limited guidance, the Financial Analyst II conducts financial research and analysis to provide customers with accurate financial data and advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives. This person must deliver thoughtful, accurate and precise analysis of data regarding business and key revenue and expense drivers. Finally, must effectively incorporate both fact and intuition into analysis and decision making.

The Financial Analyst II exhibits effective communication and leadership skills. Also, exhibits teamwork and positive behaviors throughout his/her responsibilities.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesnt meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associateds anonymous Ethics Hotline.

KEY RESULT AREAS
Timely and accurate processing and analysis of key finance-related models and systems
Report design, modeling, preparation and distribution
Support to key line of business customers or finance managers
Development and maintenance of model, system, process and user documentation.
Identification, validation and reconciliation of key data elements related to corporate, finance and external reporting
Ability to understand and convey to others the complex interrelationships between financial data and financial systems/databases in non technical language.

COMPETENCIES

Written Communication. Convey more involved detailed factual information where examples of format, but not content exist.

Problem Solving. Problems are solved based on experience and acquired knowledge through the minor adaptation of existing methods, procedures or formats. Past experience is sufficient to solve exceptions to procedures. Guidelines require only minor interpretation.

Impact of Decisions. Measurable, impacting a specific line of business in expense, operations, associate relations or customer relations.

Technical Skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the ability to understand built-in functions and develop macros. Knowledge of and ability to effectively use existing corporate reporting and data tools.

Mathematics. Calculation of percentages, ratios, basic algebraic equations, etc., without instructions or formulae provided.

Independent Action. Associate is required to act independently .

Qualifications
  JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting, Finance or MIS. Experience in the key results areas and competencies, in lieu of education, is considered.

Preferred Education
Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting, Finance or MIS

Minimum Experience
1-3 years in the financial services industry, with a background in financial analysis, enterprise reporting, cost accounting or general accounting.

Preferred Experience
3-5 years in the financial services industry, with a background in financial analysis, enterprise reporting, cost accounting or general accounting.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required.
Perform duties in accordance with the Vision & Values of Associated Banc-Corp.
Regular attendance is required.
Use of basic office equipment (e.g., photocopier, voice mail, "fax" machine, calculator, multiple line telephones, typewriter, computers etc.).
