JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, responsible for managing all finance aspects for the assigned area(s) of support. Will take a hands-on financial operating role and directly support the Director of Finance and the Line of Business Management that is influenced by the assigned area of responsibility.

Success in this position will be determined by the Finance Managers ability to assist the Director of Finance to develop and deliver the appropriate management reporting, including but not limited to: budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, performance metrics reporting, strategic planning, liquidity management, investment management, funds transfer pricing, capital attribution, business opportunity decision-making support, and to identify profit improvement initiatives that will result in the Line of Business(s) achieving their targeted financial performance.

Assist the Director of Finance in maintaining an active dialog, information sharing, collaboration and interaction with other support functions in providing Line of Business performance knowledge and intelligence.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any
procedure or process that doesnt meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associateds anonymous Ethics Hotline.

Deliver comprehensive knowledge, leadership, development and support for the SAS environment
Provides technical guidance to staff on complex assignments.
Provides SAS technical support, training, mentoring, and leadership to department staff.
Serves as team lead on medium to large projects
Convey technical outcomes to business and non-technical clientele
Integrate SAS applications and reporting using DI Studio, EG, and other SAS enterprise tools

COMPETENCIES
Written Communication. Convey complex information where examples of format sometimes exist, but not content (explaining a theory, proposal or strategy).

Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Education
Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance or MIS or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or MIS with professional certification in a related field.

Minimum Experience
7-10 years in the financial services industry, with a background in financial analysis, enterprise reporting, cost accounting or general accounting.
3-5 years experience programming in Base SAS [or SAS DI Studio], EG and/or EBI
3-5 years SQL programming in Oracle/and or MS SQL Server
Primary developer on medium and large SAS projects, having built ETL and complex business rules in DI Studio
Intermediate proficiency in EG
3-5 years working with dimensionally and relationally modeled data
3-5 years of data mining and analytical experience
Unparalleled customer service


Preferred Experience
10+ years in the financial services industry, with a background in financial analysis, enterprise reporting, cost accounting or general accounting.
5-7 years programming/coding experience in Base SAS [or DI Studio] serving as a SAS architect on large and complex business projects
Technical project manager for SAS solution implementations
5-7 years SQL programming in Oracle/and or MS SQL Server
5+ years as data warehouse architect or data modeler
