JOB SUMMARY

Processes variety of administrative transactions on customer accounts to allow trust administration to provide enhanced relationship management services to meet established service standards. Utilizes extensive understanding of wealth management products, services and overall administrative processes and procedures to process such transactions as new account openings including compliance requirements, asset transfer coordination, tax lot/cost maintenance and adjustments, gifts, overdrafts, cash balances, account terminations and other complex transactions

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The following are essential job accountabilities:

1. Processes variety of administrative transactions on customer accounts to allow trust administration to provide enhanced relationship management services to meet established service standards according to established Company policies and procedures and applicable legal and regulatory guidelines.

2. Open new client accounts. Receives necessary client account information from administrative unit and inputs into system. Reviews information and materials for compliance with appropriate Company policies and legal and regulatory requirements, including customer identification program and others. Submits new account information for acceptance/approval by appropriate parties (officer, department or regional manager).

3. Coordinates asset transfers from existing investment providers to the Company. Facilitates process so that assets transfer quickly by identifying key contacts and negotiating, persuading and providing necessary forms and information on a timely basis to help process go as smoothly as possible.

4. Maintains tax-related information on client accounts, including calculating market value of account assets in the event of client death and computing the cost of each lot of account investments based on varying dates of purchase.

5. Coordinates administrative activities related to client gifting of investments and other funds to relatives, charitable institutions and others. Ensures funds are settled and releases funds and issues checks as appropriate.

6. Manages process to close accounts when accounts are terminating. Completes and facilitates processing of necessary forms and other information and ensures that assets are distributed quickly and that applicable policies, procedures and regulations have been followed.

7. Communicates regularly with trust administration, management, outside investment, stock transfer agents and others to exchange information, answer questions and resolve issues.

8. Coordinates with division and corporate compliance and audit areas as necessary to ensure proper procedures have been followed and that ongoing policies comply with appropriate requirements.

9. Prepares detailed information and reports on transactions and accounts as needed.

10. Seeks alternative ways to improve processes and procedures and identifies recurring problems and issues and communicates them to supervisor for possible procedure changes; provides input to department policy and procedure development.

11. Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as requested.

12. Ensures that own work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Account Acceptance policies, CIP, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.


Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education: Associates Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required.

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years related experience required.
